394,790. Heating by chemical action. POLLMANN, O. E., 98, Prinzenstrasse, Berlin. April 25, 1932, No. 11840. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 28, 1932.] [Class 64 (ii).] A heating-bag containing chemicals which emit heat upon addition of water is provided with air-holes covered by a material 9 permeable to air and impermeable to the contents of the bag. The holes may also be covered by an external strip 6 or adjustable roll 8 made of rubber or other air-tight material. A filling tube 10 is provided which may fold up automatically to close the aperture.
