Abstract
373,830. Storing and delivering cigarettes &c. WEINTRAUD & CO. GES. and LORCH, S., Oflenbach-on-Main, Germany. July 10, 1931, No. 19942. [Class 18.] A box for storing and delivering cigarettes &c. comprises a magazine a, for example, of wood and cylindrical in shape, with longitudinal grooves around its curved surface to hold the articles b, the magazine being rotatable on a foot h in a casing d ; the articles rest on a sloping edge g to the foot h so that a single article will tip out of a delivery aperture in the casing d when the magazine a is turned by a handle e to bring the corresponding groove opposite the aperture. To ensure that the grooves are correctly positioned with regard to the delivery aperture, a spring catch m on the casing engages in a series of recesses in a disc i secured in a recess in the magazine. The magazine is filled by removing the foot h or through an orifice covered by a slide &c. in the top of the casing d.
