Abstract

[Class 7 (ii).] The pipe A conveying air from a pump to a multicylinder engine is divided by partitions C having nozzle-like openings B; surging and consequent noise is thus prevented. Different parts of the pipe A may receive separate supplies through pipes F, g as shown, and the pipe A may taper.
