Abstract
369,541. Fuel-injection pumps. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militarstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Nov. 24, 1931, No. 1833/32. Convention date, Nov. 23, 1929. Divided on application. [Class 102 (i).] The speed of an internal-combustion engine is controlled by limiting the maximum pressure in the fuel-injection pump. A port 27 in the cylinder wall connects with a storage accumulator provided with a piston 21 biased by a spring 24. The pump plunger is provided with grooves 29, 30 which byepass the fuel stored to the suction pipe 17. The port 27 is of smaller diameter than the piston 21 and the spring 24 may be controlled by the screw 25.
