350,767. Aerating liquids. BURMEISTER, H., 9, Kosenerstrasse, Schmargendorf, Berlin. July 10, 1930, No. 20953. Convention date, July 11, 1929. [Class 14 (i).] Carbon dioxide is forced into water or fruit juice and the aerated liquid is drawn off continuously without utilizing the expansion of the liberated gas. A vessel 1 containing gas-disseminating means 4 is continually open to the gas supply pipe 5 and is connected by pipes 6, 7 to the upper and lower ends respectively of a measuring device 11 containing a piston 12. By suitable manipulation of the valves 13, 15 aerated liquid above the piston is discharged to the outlet, alternately with the discharge of fresh liquid below the piston from the pipe 8 to the vessel 1. Any other suitable pressureregulated measuring device may be substituted for the cylinder and piston.
