283,445. Keller, P. Sept. 20, 1927. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Strap fastenings.-The ends of a metal strap b are received by slits h, s in the wire shackle g and notched plate i. In making the slit s, a lip is formed below the plate so as to press against the strap when the plate is forced against a box, &c. The shackle may have integral pivots z recessed to prevent slipping. The spindle may be tied or sealed to the plate.
