Abstract

Oct. 26, 1925, [Convention date Reservoir pens with special marking-points; regulating inksupply; air-supply arrangements. -A tool for poster-writing consists of a barrel 1 for the writing-fluid carrying at one end an axial tube 6 to which is attached a nozzle 9. The nozzle is open at the rear end 10 and is provided with a side aperture 11 arranged at an angle to the axis, so that the nozzle can be supported axially or at an angle to the barrel by inserting the tube 6 into the aperture 10 or 11 respectively, the other aperture serving for the entry of air. The admission of air is regulated by the depth of insertion of the tube 6 into the apertures. The nozzle 9 terminates in a tube 12 through which ink flows to the writing-surface, the tube being normally closed by a valve 14 but opened during use by the pressure of the projecting end of the valve stem 13 on the writing-surface. When out of use, the tube 6 is covered by a small cap, and the nozzle 9 is retained in a covering cap which screws on to the end 2 of the barrel 1.
