259,994. Deutsche Gasgl³hlicht-Auer- Ges. Oct. 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Addition to 259,993. Disc apparatus.-In a machine for polishing circular profiled articles and articles of non- circular cross-section as described in the parent Specification, the fine polishing scratches are caused to cross by mounting the work f on a rotating and reciprocating spindle c having joints d and mounted on a toothed segment b which rolls on a rack i, the work in consequence assuming all positions between those indicated at g, h. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also an arrangement wherein the work is placed in an inclined position between the polishing-discs. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
