Abstract

259,870. Marston, Ltd., J., and Greenwood, J. E. June 8, 1926. Valves.-A pair of " mousetrap " springs 2 are arranged one on each side of the valve stem, one end of the springs engaging with the valve washer 14, and the other end being anchored to the valve guide 8. Two or more pairs of springs may be used, and may be spaced symmetrically round the valve. The connection with the valve stem may be made the same as that with the valve guide.
