[0031] Referring to FIGS. 1-8, the spiral cutting food processor according to an exemplary embodiment includes a bowl 1 with a feeding portion 11 formed on a lid 10. The lid 10 covers on the bowl 1. The bowl 1 includes a driving device which is usually a motor (not shown) formed on the bottom of the bowl 1. The motor outputs the rotary power via a rotatable driving output 101 (it’s usually a rotating shaft) to drive a cutting blade device rotate to process the food. A spiral cutting member 100a is positioned in the bowl 1 to form corresponding to the feeding portion 11 and includes a driving gear 2 connected to the rotatable driving output 101, a base 4 fixed in the bowl 1, a cutting holder 3 positioned on the base 4 and at least two feed handling cutters switchably mounted to the cutting holder
3. The bowl 1 includes an upper portion 13 formed on the upper end thereof for positioning the base 4, and a discharging portion 130 is formed on the upper portion 13 and uncovered by the base 4. The driving gear 2 is meshed with a gear ring 30 of the cutting holder 3 to drive the cutting holder 3 rotate. An outlet 5 is respectively provided in the cutting holder 3 and the base 4 for the processed ingredients falling into the bowl 1. In the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the at least two feed handling cutters includes a first cutting blade device 7 for cutting any food into slices and a second cutting blade device 8 for cutting any food into shreds.
[0032] In the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, it can be used to switch different functions of the food processor by changing the at least two feed handling cutters installation, thereby the multi-usage with the one food processor is obtained. In this way, it can fully satisfy the kitchen’s need, effectively reduce the occupation space by the food and the living cost.
[0033] Next, the first cutting blade device 7 for cutting the food into slices is illustrated as an example. The first cutting blade device 7 for cutting into slices includes a disk-shaped first body 700a, a first blade housing 700b mounted on the first body 700a, a transverse slicing blade 700 mounted on the first blade housing 700b, and a cutting edge of the slicing blade 700 slightly inclined upward from the center of the first body 700a to the inner side of the first body 700a, and a thinner gap 701 formed between the slicing blade 700 and the first blade housing 700b. The gap 701 determines the thickness of the slicing food, while the length of the cutting edge of the slicing blade 700 determines the width of the slicing food. During the operation of the food processor, the power of the motor passes through the rotatable driving output 101 and the driving gear 2 and is finally transmitted to the cutting holder 3, the first cutting blade 7 is driven follow the rotation to slice the food into pieces. So, the food entering from the feeding portion 11 is gradually sliced into pieces by the rotatable slicing blade 700 and then dropped from the outlet 5 into the bowl 1.
[0034] The second cutting blade device 8 for cutting the food into shreds is taken as another example to illustrate. The second cutting blade device 8 for cutting into shreds includes a disk-shaped second body 800a, a second blade housing 800b mounted on the second body 800a, a transverse shredding blade 800 mounted on the second blade housing 800b with a cutting edge slightly inclined upward thereof, a gap 800c formed between the shredding blade 800 and the second blade housing 800b, and a number of longitudinal small blades 802 arranged along the gap 800c to form a row of holes 801. When the food processor is on work, the power of the motor passes through the rotatable driving output
101 and the driving gear 2 and is finally transmitted to the cutting holder 3, the first cutting blade 7 is driven follow the rotation to slice the food into shreds. So, the food entering from the feeding portion 11 is gradually cut into shreds by the rotatable shredding blade 800 and the small blades 802, and then dropped from the outlet 5 into the bowl 1.
[0035] In the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a protecting cover 6 is provided at the periphery of the driving gear 2 and the cutting holder 3. A pair of metal rings 32 is installed between the protecting cover 6 and the cutting cover 3 and respectively fixed to the upper and lower ends of the cutting holder 3 for reducing friction therebetween. The protecting cover 6 is provided for strengthening the protection of the joint between the driving gear 2 and the cutting holder 3 so as to prevent the food from falling into the gap to cause obstacles of the transmission relationship therebetween, and avoid increasing the cleaning difficulty. Simultaneously, during rotation of the cutting holder 3, the smooth surface of the metal ring 32 can reduce the interference caused by rotation of the cutting holder 3.
[0036] In the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, each of the first and second cutting blade devices 7, 8 includes a pair of limiting portions 9 extending downward from the bottom thereof and located in the outlet 5. A pair of convex plates 31 corresponding to the pair of limiting portions 9 is formed by extending inward from the inner edge of the outlet 5 of the cutting holder 3. the convex plate 31 can touch with the limiting portion 9 when the cutting holder 3 is rotated so that a pushing force is applied on the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8 to drive the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8 follow rotation, thereby the installation of the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8 is simple. That is to say, it is only necessary to lower the limiting portion 9 downwards into the outlet 5 rather than adjusting the detail position of the cutting holder 3 and the cutting blade device, thereby the driving engagement therebetween is completed when the cutting holder 3 is rotated.
[0037] The limiting portion 9 is circular, and the position of the limiting portion 9 corresponding to the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8 is hollow, which is convenient to pick up the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8. The limiting portion 9 includes a clasp 90 extending outward from the outer circumferential edge of the bottom of the limiting portion 9 to clamp with the corresponding convex plate 31. When the convex plate 31 rotates to match with the limiting portion 9, the clasp 90 can clasp with the convex plate 31. Such operation can be done by rotating the cutting holder 3 after the food processor is started, or be obtained by manually operation when the food processor is in preparation. The combination of the clasp 90 and the convex plate31 strengthens the stability of the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8 in the working process, especially in high-speed rotation, it can effectively avoid the dissynchronization between the cutting holder 3 and the first cutting blade device 7 or the second cutting blade device 8. [0038] After the ingredients are placed, the ingredients need to be further pushed down along the feeding portion 11. So, the spiral cutting food processor further includes a food pusher 12 to match with the feeding portion 11. The food pusher 12 is first inserted into the feeding portion 11 which the ingredients has been placed in the feeding portion 11, and then the food pusher 12 is moved down along the feeding portion 11 to push the ingredients gradually cut into slices by the slicing blade 700 or cut into shreds by the shredding blade 800. As the ingredients are pushed down step by step, the food pusher 12 may be removed to put in other ingredients needed to be processed. In order to avoid the sliding influence of the ingredients, each clawing portion 100 is formed on the upper surface of the feed handling cutter and the bottom surface of the food pusher 12 for fixing the ingredients. The clawing portion 100 is spike-shaped and passes through the first body 700a or the second body 800a. In the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the slicing blade 700 is mounted between the circumferential inner side of the first body 700a and the clawing portion 100, while the shredding blade 800 is also mounted between the circumferential inner side of the second body 800a and the clawing portion 100.
[0039] Preferably, the food pusher 12 includes a guiding bar 121 extending outward from the outer surface of the food pusher 12 along the axis direction thereof, and the feeding portion 11 includes a guiding slot 110 formed on the inner surface thereof to match with the guiding bar 121. The cross-section of both the guiding bar 121 and the guiding slot 110 is polygon, such as triangle. The engagement of the guiding bar 121 and the guiding slot 110 can ensure the centralization of the force transmission and avoid the influence because of the food pusher 12 rotation and deviation. At the same time, the guiding bar 121 and the guiding slot 110 are polygonal which can enhance the engagement stability of therebetween.
[0040] Although the features and elements of the present disclosure are described as embodiments in particular combinations, each feature or element can be used alone or in other various combinations within the principles of the present disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
