Abstract
A case structure comprises a case body 1, a lid or flap 2, and an axle sleeve 5. The case body has a pair of pivots 11 at two sides thereof. Each pivot has a cavity 111 therein, a curved surface 12 at an upper end of the cavity, an oblique surface 1111 extending outward from the cavity and connecting with one end of the curved surface, and a stopper 13 disposed at another end of the curved surface. The lid has an axle pipe 21 a pair of rotary axles 22 at two ends thereof. Each rotary axle has an eccentric hole for insertion of a compressed spring 3 and a push rod 4. The push rod is against the compressed spring and inserted in an eccentric through hole of the axle sleeve. When the lid is lifted, the push rod will compress the compressed spring and be driven to move along the oblique surface of the cavity and the curved surface to the stopper. The compressed spring has a return force to push the push rod back along the curved surface, and then the push rod is positioned in the cavity. Therefore in use the lid won't generate an impact force when closed and can prevent the lid from hurting the user's fingers.
Description
CASE STRUCTURE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a case structure, and more particularly to a case with a lid which doesn't make a strike noise and can prevent the user's fingers from being hurt.
2. Description of the Prior Art
A conventional case structure has a torque spring disposed at its axe, so that the user has to lift its lid with one hand and throw an object into the case with another hand. After that, the lid will be returned by the force of the torque spring.
This way is not convenient for the user to throw the object. Besides, the strike force of the homing lid is great, which may hurt the user's fingers and make a noise. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself* based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to the present invention, there is provided a case structure comprising a case body, a lid, and an axle sleeve. The case body has a pair of pivots at two sides thereof. Each pivot has a cavity therein, a curved surface at an upper end of the cavity, an oblique surface extending outward from the cavity and connecting with one end of the curved surface, and a stopper disposed at another end of the curved surface. The lid includes an axle pipe, a stop wall in the axle pipe, and a pair of rotary axles at two ends of the axle pipe. Each rotary axle has an eccentric hole for insertion of a compressed spring and a push rod.
The compressed spring is against the stop wall. The push rod is against the compressed spring and inserted in an eccentric through hole of the axle sleeve.
The axle sleeve has a recess corresponding to the rotary axle and the eccentric through hole for insertion of the push rod. The push rod is then engaged in the cavity of the pivot of the case body. The lid covers an insertion hole of the case body. A decoration frame is provided on the case body and fitted on the lid.
The decoration frame has a notch for the user to lift the lid with ease. When the lid is lifted, the push rod wilt be driven to move along the oblique surface of the cavity and the curved surface to the stopper. The lid is lifted to the most. The compressed spring has a return force to push the push rod back along the curved surface, and then the push rod is positioned in the cavity. In this way, the lid won't generate an impact force when closed and can prevent the lid from hurting the user's fingers.
Preferably, the push rod has a rounded head at one end thereof. The rounded head is located in the cavity of the pivot of the case body, so that the rounded head facilitates movement of the push rod when the lid is lifted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODiMENTS
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in Fig, 1 through Fig. 3, the present invention comprises a case body 1, a lid 2, and an axle sleeve 5. The case body 1 has a pair of pivots 11 at two sides thereof. Each pivot 11 has a cavity 111 therein, a curved surface 12 at an upper end of the cavity 111, an oblique surface 1111 extending outward from the cavity 111 and connecting with one end of the curved surface 12, and a stopper 13 disposed at another end of the curved surface 12, as shown in Fig. 3, Fig. 3-A and Fig. 3-B.
Referring to Fig. 1-A, the lid 2 includes an axle pipe 21, a stop wall 211 in the axle pipe 21, and a pair of rotary axles 22 at two ends of the axle pipe 211.
Each rotary axle 22 has an eccentric hole 221 for insertion of a compressed spring 3 and a push rod 4. The compressed spring 3 is against the stop wall 211. The push rod 4 is against the compressed spring 3 and inserted in an eccentric through hole 51 of the axle sleeve.
Referring to Fig. 1, Fig. 3-A, Fig. 3-B, Fig. 4, Fig. 4-A, Fig. 5, Fig. 5-A, the axle sleeve 5 has a recess 52 corresponding to the rotary axle 22 and the eccentric through hole 51 for insertion of the push rod 4. The push rod 4 is then engaged in the cavity 111 of the pivot 11 of the case body 1. The lid 2 covers an insertion hole 10 of the case body 1. A decoration frame 6 is provided on the case body 1 and fitted on the lid 2. The decoration frame 6 has a notch 61 for the user to lift the lid 2 with ease.
Referring to Fig. 3, Fig. 5, Fig. 5-A, when the lid 2 is lifted, the push rod 4 will be driven to move along the oblique surface 1111 of the cavity 111 and the curved surface 12 to the stopper 13. The lid 2 is lifted to the most. The compressed spring 3 has a return force to push the push rod 4 back along the curved surface 12, and then the push rod 4 is positioned in the cavity 111. In this way, the lid 2 won't generate an impact force when closed. As shown in Fig. 6, an object can be thrown in a box 7 through the insertion hole 10 to prevent the lid 2 from hurting the user's fingers.
Fig. 1, Fig. 1-A, Fig. 5, Fig. 5-A, the push rod 4 has a rounded head 41 at one end thereof. The rounded head 41 is located in the cavity 111 of the pivot 11 of the case body 1, so that the rounded head 41 facilitates movement of the push rod 4 when the lid 2 is lifted.
Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
