Abstract
232,573. Cardellino, M. M. April 19, 1924, [Convention date]. Inductor machines.-An ignition magneto comprises a tubular magnet A provided internally at both ends with laminated poles B carrying the fixed armature windings C, and a rotor shaft R provided at each end with laminated radial inductors. The primary windings are arranged in series and are wound oppositely on adjacent poles. The high-tension currents are taken by a brush to a central ring S mounted on an insulating covering on the rotor, and connected with distributing-segments T<1>, T<2> adapted to engage collector brushes connected to the sparking-plugs. The number of sparks for each revolution is determined by the number of radial inductors.
