Abstract

Intruder deterrent apparatus for preventing animals entering a persons garden has an infra red sensor 1 connected to a water inlet valve 4 which upon detection of an intruder releases water from the mains supply 3 through a hose 5 out to an attachment 6 to spray the intruder with water.

Description

Intruder deterrent The invention relates to an intruder deterrent which is small and compact with a passive infa red sensor.
If you have a problem with intruders (ie cats & dogs) coming into your garden digging up plants or fouling. Place the intruder deterrent in the garden, when the water sprays it chases them away without hurting them.
The object of this invention is to chase away unwanted intruders in your garden without causing any harm to them.
This invention provides a small plastic box with a passive infa red sensor which is connected to a water inlet valve. The valve releases the water to a hose which is connected to a attachment.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Figure 1 shows the inside of the whole intruder deterrent.
With reference to the drawing the intruder deterrent comprises of a passive infa red sensor 1 which is connected to the main power supply 2 and inlet water valve 4 the inlet water valve 4 is connected to main water supply 3 when the passive infa red 1 is activated the inlet water valve 4 releases the water from mains supply 3 through the hose pipe 5 and out to an attachment 6.

  1. Claims 1. An intruder deterrent comprises of a passive infa red sensor connected to a water inlet valve with a hose to release the water from the valve to an attachment. All which is encased in a plastic box.
  2. 2. An intruder deterrent substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
