Caps.-A method of attaching the caps of electric-lamp bulbs consists in interposing a resilient ting 7 between a groove or rim 5 at the base of the bulb and an inturned flange 8 on the cap 4, and also placing a resilient packing, such as a rubber ring 9, between the bulb and its insulating block 3.
