Abstract

A safety hat or helmet comprises attached thereto a headlight or headlights at the front and also stop or side or rear light(s) to make for easier identification or recognition and visibility.

Description

General Purpose Safetv Hat/Helmet 1. This invention relates to safety hats/helmets.
2. There are many types of hat/helmet's that specialize in various types of safety, work, activity or sport. None though are general purpose; that offer a variety of facilities.
A Miners lamp for example will illuminate forwards but does not make say a walker on the road at night, easily visible to a motor vehicle from behind.
3. The present invention is a safety hat/helmet, open or full faced which meets both British and European Safety Standards and incorporates in its basic form headlight/s at the front and coloured stop/side/rear light/s attached aft, or, anywhere over the hat/helmet body to make easy light identification and recognition and aid easier visibility.

Claims (7)

Claims
1. To affix extra lights on to a safety helmet hat, to aid illumination forwards.
2. As 1. with increased recognition from behind by affixing red light/s to rear of hat/helmet eg stop/rear light.
3. As 1 & 2 with indicator lights fitted fore, aft, even in the middle.
4. As 1, 2 & 3 with optional extras including; side/reversing lights, reflectors, beacons flashing or continuous beams; go faster stripes and reflectors with solar panels; cellular radio telephone.
5. As 1, 2, 3 , 4 with micro earphones for wireless & 2 way radio.
6. As 1 2 3 4 5 with added umbilical cable for external electricity power, even by fibre optics for digital information; & intercom.
7. As 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 , 6 with hi-tech TV headup display, direction finder by radio or satellite beams; SOS beacons & a stout chinstrap.
