Abstract

An indicator for a garment hanger has a body portion which serves to impart information as to the size of the garment, the manufacturer of the garment and the like, the body portion having means for releasably attaching the indicator to a hanger so that the indicator is visible when a garment is on the hanger. Preferably a portion of the indicator is visible from the rear of the hanger when it is attached to the hanger. In one embodiment, fig. 2, the body portion 1 has a projection 3 integrally moulded therewith, which projection engages in a slot S formed in an enlarged display area A on the hook of a garment hanger. In another embodiment, fig. 12, the indicator covers the whole hook of the hanger. <IMAGE>
