Abstract

204,194. Pridmore, G. W. Sept. 5, 1922. Luggage racks and holders.-Means for facilitating the attachment and detachment of the luggage-carriers of cycles, motor-cars. &c. comprises one or more plates 9 on the the vehicle frame or on the carrier 3, formed with slots 10 to receive right-angular lugs 4 on the carrier 3 or on the vehicle, the lugs 4 having hollow buttresses 5 to bear against the plates 9. Headed screws 11 are passed through slots 12 and then turned to lock the carrier in position. Two slotted plates 9 at a distance apart may be attached to the rear of a motor-car &c.
