Abstract

27,372. Masters, A. Hawkins-. Dec. 6. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs.-Spring spokes of flat steel are formed with semi-elliptic or similar curved bends B lying in a plane containing the axle. The spokes converge towards the rim and are arranged in staggered form with the convexities 1 set inwards. The outer ends are secured by radial bolts C passing through the rim and tyre. The inner'ends are secured between the central and two outer hub sections 1, 2, 3.
