Abstract

175,722. Hayward, C. W., and Stevens & Co. (1914), Ltd., A. J. Nov. 16, 1920. Wind and like screens or deflectors.-A sidescreen for a motor-cycle side-car, which is separate from the front screen, comprises a metal framework to which a celluloid or like sheet is attached, the screen being attached at its lower side to the side-car body and detachably connected to the front screen so that the front screen may be lifted whilst the side screen remains attached to the side-car. The side-car is preferably fitted with a hinged cover flap 7 which projects over the door opening and carries the front windscreen. The side screen comprises a metal framework 3, 11 attached by brackets 5, 13 to the sidecar body. The front screen and side screen are detachably connected by means of a spring clip 10 on the side screen engaging a ball-head 8 attached to the front screen.
