Abstract

1519993 Colour photographic silver haloiodide material EASTMAN KODAK CO 3 Sept 1975 [3 Sept 1974] 36306/75 Heading G2C A photo-sensitive material comprises a support bearing a red-sensitized silver haloiodide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler, a green-sensitized silver haloiodide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler and a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler, the red- and green-sensitized emulsion layers being adjacent and separated by a water-permeable layer containing 0À05-2À0 g/m<SP>2</SP> colloidal silver and optionally a reducing agent to inhibit stain formation during colour development. The colloidal silver may be yellow (see Ex. 1) or yellow and grey (see Ex. 2). The colloidal silver layer provides favourable interimage effects in the greensensitized layer.
