Abstract
151,998. Luellen, L. W. Nov. 18, 1914, [Convention date]. Addition to 25914/12. Contents, delivering; fittings, external. - A holder from which paper drinking-cups &c. can be withdrawn singly comprises an annular collar member 3, Fig. 1, supported by a fixed or adjustable bracket 2 on a stand or upright, the collar member having an horizontal flange 4 which carries an elastic gasket 5 of rubber or other resilient material formed with fingers 5<1> which engage under the mouth flanges 8 of the nested cups 7. A removable tubular protector 6 preferably of glass and closed at the top covers the stack or nest of cups. For cups without mouth flanges, the annulus 5 may be formed with two sets of inwardly-projecting resilient fingers 12, 13, Fig. 4, adapted to engage the sides of the cups.
