Abstract

1514749 Door stays C I CARAVANS Ltd 17 Aug 1976 [8 Oct 1975] 41347/75 Heading E2F In a door stay assembly for a door 18 which is hinged at 28 to a supporting frame 26, the stay comprises a stiff, resilient strip of material which is located at one end about a stud 17 located on a bracket 16 attached to the door 18 and at the other end is located about a stud 20 projecting from the supporting frame 26. As the door moves from its open position shown in full lines to its closed position 18" shown in dotted lines the stay is bowed and passes through an equilibrium position during the closure of the door when the axes of the pivotal axes of the stay and the hinge axis 28 of the door 18 are in line.
