Abstract

1509057 Hinges SASEB AG 1 Aug 1975 [23 Aug 1974] 32281/75 Heading E2F In a vehicle door hinge, two shaped hinge members 1, 2 are fixed to the vehicle body and the vehicle door respectively and a torsion bar 24 is mounted on the hinge member 2 such that a detent part in the form of a roller 31 is provided on the torsion bar to co - operate with a calm profile 8 on the hinge member 1. The cam profile 8 is made up of a first section 9 a second section 10, forming a detent to hold the door in a partially - open position, a third section 11 for applying a light resistance to the door during the opening operation, and a fourth section 12 which acts as a detent section.
