Abstract

Carbon fibres (2) are arranged in the screw core (1) in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the screw and, in the thread channels (3), in a direction forming an acute angle with the longitudinal axis. As a result, a high tensional and flexural strength is achieved in the core (1) and a high shear strength is achieved in the thread channels (3). The screw is suitable in particular for connecting elements which are exposed to high thermal and chemical loads. <IMAGE>
