Abstract

1439472 Suction cleaners; handles HOOVER Ltd 26 June 1973 [3 July 1972] 30325/73 Headings A4F and A4G A tool caddy 12 comprises an elongate frame capable of being carried on the top of an elongated casing 8 of a suction cleaner when the casing is in a horizontal operative position, and is retained on the casing, when this is stood on end for storage, by the engagement of handle 16 on the caddy with a handle 64 on the casing. The caddy 12 comprises side frame members 14 joined at one end by the handle 16 and at the other end by a V-shaped base 18 on which the caddy may be stood when detached from the cleaner casing. A V-shaped bracket 32 on the caddy supports a suction nozzle 36 Fig. 1 (not shown), bridges 38, 40 form apertures 42, 44 receiving a crevice tool (48), and apertures in flanges (50), 52 on the frame members 14 receive collars on other suction nozzles.
