Abstract

1432251 Ship access ramp MAC GREGOR COMARAIN SA 31 May 1973 [6 June 1972] 25972/73 Heading B8E [Also in Division B7] A movable door 5 which closes a loading port in the stern 1 of a ship extends over at least the greater part of the height between two deck levels 3 and 4. The door is rotatable about horizontal axis 8 at point 11 from the closed position outwards and downwards to a horizontal open position at the lower deck level 3. The door is also slidably movable in guides 10 when in its closed position to a position in which it is rotatable about a second horizontal axis 9 at point 12 at the upper deck level 4 outwards and upwards to become an access ramp as an extension of the upper deck level.
