Abstract

1427199 Disposable diaper JOHNSON & JOHNSON 12 June 1973 [26 June 1972] 27908/73 Heading A5R The subject matter of this specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1402327 but the claims are concerned with a diaper similar to that disclosed in specification 1402327 in which opposite side portions are folded first inwardly about a line A and second outwardly about a line B. The minor portions of the densified layer of the batt may extend through the entire cross section of the batt, and may extend in parallel lines interspersed by non-densified sections of batt. The facing layer may be a foraminous structure of dense groups of non-woven fibres surrounding similar less dense areas.
