Abstract

1417954 Vapour-releasing device SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 14 Jan 1974 [15 Jan 1973 (2)] 01648/74 Heading A5G A device for disseminating vapours, e.g. of insecticides, comprises a flat "back plate" 12 having opposed side walls 14 turned inwardly to form shoulders 15 and hence two opposed slots in which the edges of a flexible body 11 of material containing a vapourisable substance are held. The body is held in place with the aid of end posts 13 (Fig. 1) or the central ridge 18 (Fig. 6) and may comprise more than one part being divided, e.g. at 19, each part containing a different vapourisable material. The holder also may be impregnated with an evaporable material.
