Abstract
1400275 Reverberation circuit BRITISH BROADCASTING CORP 9 May 1973 [26 May 1972] 25085/72 Heading H4R An artificial reverberation system includes delay means # 1 -# n having an output connected to the input to form a closed loop and a circuit 22 in the loop having at least two states in which the coloration of the signal is different and being driven between its states in a random manner 24. The element may be a variable delay element, a fixed delay switchable into or out of the loop (Fig. 3, not shown) or a switchable 180 degree phase shifter and it may include sufficient attenuation to ensure a substantially uniform rate of decay. The system is suitable for analogue, digital, stereo- or quadraphonic signals.
