Abstract
1466156 Centrifugal pumps SZIVATTYU-ES GEPJAVITO SZOVETKEZET 10 April 1974 [18 April 1973] 15919/74 Heading F1C A multi-stage liquid pump without a stuffing box comprises an electric drive motor having a hollow rotor 17 through which the flow passes and a stator 7 sealed from the flow by sleeve 10 and seal rings 12, 25. Rotor 17 is supported by spaced ribs from a shaft 14 carried in bearings 13, 26 mounted in housings 3, 26 respectively. Shaft 14 also carries centrifugal impellers 30, 31. Bearings 13, 26 are lubricated from the working flow via bores 29, 28 respectively. Guide vanes 20 ensure swirl-free flow leaving the pump.
