1457723 Surge voltage arrestors SIEMENS AG 29 Jan 1975 [4 April 1974] 3975/75 Heading H1D A surge voltage arrestor having two opposing electrodes in a gas-tight tubular insulating envelope has on the inner surface at least one narrow strip of conductive radioactive material extending in the direction from one electrode to the other. The radioactive material can be promethium hydroxide combined with magnesium oxide and a silicate binder; a paste containing palladium, palladium oxide and silver or a line drawn with a graphite pencil lead containing promethium.
