Abstract

1456882 Package and method for disseminating a vaporizable substance PERMTEK Inc 12 Jan 1974 03000/76 Divided out of 1456881 Heading B8C [Also in Division G1] The description is the same as that disclosed in the parent Specification 1,456,881, but the claims are directed to a method of controllably disseminating into the atmosphere a substance which is normally flowable under atmospheric temperature and pressure conditions and which is vaporizable under atmospheric temperature and pressure conditions, the method comprising the steps of forming a chamber having a flexible wall part and a wall portion of plastics material, supplying into the chamber under atmospheric pressure conditions, a quantity of said flowable substance permeant to the plastics material at a given rate per unit area, and hermetically sealing the chamber under gasfree conditions whereby the substance thereafter travels through the plastics material and, at the outer surface thereof, evaporates into the atmosphere. The claims also direct the invention to a package produced by the said method.
