Abstract

1446385 Hair-dryers PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENTFABRIEKEN NV 3 May 1974 [8 May 1973] 19588/74 Heading A5R A hand-held hair-dryer having a casing 1 part of which contains a blower coupled to an electric motor 4 and an outlet duct 3 in which a heating element 7 is accommodated, the duct being connected to the same part of the casing, characterised in that the outlet duct also contains a printed circuit 14, 15, 22 for the electrical connections which acts as a heat shield between the heating element and the wall of the outlet duct. As shown, the printed circuit is mounted on three boards 14, 15, 22 which bound the space around the element 8 and also carry terminals 16, 17, a rectifier 20 a switch 21, and tappings 23 connected to different points on the element.
