Abstract

1329135 Abrasive tools C R CLAYTON 7 Oct 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 51476/70 Heading B3D An abrading wheel for trimming glass reinforced polyester or epoxy resin material and laminates comprises a support disc 10 with cutting or abrading particles on its periphery, and a plurality of spaced apart areas 13 of cutting or abrading particles on and extending out from each of its opposite side surfaces, the areas being in the form of ribs extending from the periphery inwardly towards the centre of the wheel. As described, the disc is of metal and the particles are of diamond electro-plated on the disc. The ribs on one face are staggered with respect to those on the other.
