Abstract
1317358 Multiple conduit hose POLYFLEX SCHWARZ GmbH & CO 18 Nov 1971 53621/71 Heading F2P A pressure resisting hose comprises a core and a pressure resistant outer cover, the core being made up of a plurality of plastics conduits of sector shaped cross-section whose adjoining walls have steel bands interposed therebetween, the core having a circular external cross-section and having the components thereof helically disposed about its axis. As described the core is made up of two D section conduits 1 separated by a steel band 2. The outer cover may comprise an adhesive metal foil or wrappings of metal wire or textile yarns. The layers of the outer cover may be united by the application and vulcanization of rubber thereon. The helical wrappings of successive layers of the cover may be disposed in opposite directions to withstand the pressure.
