1305559 Cables BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES Ltd 23 July 1970 [24 July 1969] 37318/69 Addition to 1161879 Heading H1A A cable made by the method of Specification 1,161,879 has an outer conductor formed by wires of diameter in the range 0À3 to 1À0 mm. The wires 1 are drawn from a linear lay plate 2 by a driven cylindrical rod 3 about which the wires are wrapped, the wires then pass to an intermediate lay plate 6 prior to the steps described in the earlier Specification. The closing dies are similar to those of the earlier Specification but are more closely fitting.
