Abstract
1301640 Vehicle spring suspensions ALOIS KOBER KG 24 March 1970 28518/72 Divided out of 1299395 Heading B7D A suspension unit for a caravan or other trailer vehicle comprises a prismatic support tube 2a, an inner elongate member 3a supported therein by resilient elements 4, and wheel support arms (5) (Fig. 1, not shown), carried on projecting ends of the member 3, each internal angle a of the support tube 2a being greater than 90 degrees, and the tube 2a having twice the number of apices as compared with the number of apices of the elongate member 3a. As shown, the support tube 2a can be generally hexagonal in section while the elongate member 3a is triangular; in another form (Fig. 3, not shown) the support tube is generally octagonal and the elongate member square in section. The elongate member can be hollow or solid.
