1391810 Samples in glass-like materials SEIMENS AG 27 Oct 1972 [28 Oct 1971] 49770/72 Heading C1M [Also in Division C1] Samples for X-ray spectrometric analysis are dissolved in a molten substance which cools to a glass-like solid, poured into a mould and allowed to solidify. The substance may be ammonium phosphate optionally mixed with ammonium bifluoride or ammonium nitrate; the substance dissolved may be a nuclear fuel or fertile material, a cement material or a copper alloy.
