Abstract

1384307 Mixing apparatus; discharging FARMHAND (UK) Ltd 24 May 1973 [26 May 1972] 24964/72 Heading B1C [Also in Division B8] In apparatus for milling and mixing animal foodstuffs the container for the mixed material (as described, the mixing container) has a rectangular outlet duct 6 leading to a horizontal cylindrical housing 8 having in its end walls parts 11 through which a stream of conveying air is blown. A variable speed rotor having blades 13 meters the discharge of material from the container; the blades have rubber sealing strips 14 backed by metal strips 15 which have a cutting action against the edge of the container.
