Abstract

1382718 Steam-ozone treatment of the skin DEUTSCHE NEMECTRON GmbH 17 Aug 1972 [8 Sept 1971] 38450/72 Heading A5R Apparatus for dermatological treatment with a steam-ozone mixture comprises a first pipe 2 conducting the steam and arranged with an upward inclination toward a discharge nozzle 3 which has a collar 9 projecting into the steam pipe 1, and a second pipe 4 which surrounds the first pipe, conducts the ozone or ozone-enriched and ionised air and has a mixing nozzle 5. The nozzles 3 and 5 are arranged in alignment in the circumferential walls of the pipes and the end wall 11 of the steam pipe -slopes downwardly. The pipes 2 and 4 are connected together by webs 7 and are rotatably mounted so that the nozzle 5 can be brought into any desired position. The end wall of the steam pipe may not be inclined in which case the height of the collar 9 is increased.
