Abstract

138,041. Clark, J. T. Sept.. 1, 1919. Spindles. - The screwed plug of a valve adapted to move the disk on to its seating has a pocket at its lower end in which is seated a thimble I connected to the valve disk G by a screwed bolt. The thimble is manually forced into the pocket formed in the plug, and it can be readily detached when desired. By the attaching means described, the valve disk has a rotatable connexion with the thimble, and it can also be longitudinally adjusted on the connecting-bolt.
