Abstract

1378300 Screens H C BEECH 1 March 1973 [22 Dec 1971] 59570/71 Heading A4U [Also in Division E2] Sectional screens, formed from panels 10, tubular side members 6 and corner members 1, are linked together by connecting members having projections 12 which engage in holes in the corner members. The corner members have arms 2 which are resiliently engagable in the tubular side members 6, and are preferably formed from a resilient plastics material. As shown the connecting member has two projections 12 extending from each face of a plate 11 to enable two pairs of screens to be joined, one pair above the other; in further embodiments up to four projections extend from either or both sides of the plate 11. The members 6 are preferably extruded aluminium or aluminium alloy and the panels 10 are any suitable material such as wood, hardboard, blockboard, metal, plastics or even glass, paper or fabric.
