Abstract

1370524 Fasteners BPB INDUSTRIES Ltd 12 March 1973 [11 March 1972] 11507/72 Heading E2B A fastener comprises an anchor plate 2 having a plurality of prongs 4, for attachment to a board or tile 12 to be supported and a plate part 8 which is engageable with a beam 16 or other support, the two plates being disposed in parallel relationship and guided for sliding movement one relative to the other, and means, such as a detent 10 engageable in one of a number of holes 6, for securing the plates against relative movement. Prior to fixing the anchor plate 2 to a board, the prongs 4 are dipped in plaster and/or resin based adhesive.
