Abstract
1360926 Watches DAINI SEIKOSHA K K 1 June 1972 [2 June 1971] 25665/72 Heading G3T A watch case comprises a back 10, a bezel 22, and a glass 16 which is bonded to a ring 13, the back and the ring being separated by a sealing gasket 15 which is compressed when the bezel and the back are urged together by tightening a plurality of screw devices. In a first embodiment, Fig. 1, each screw device comprises a nut 27 engaging the threaded end 33 of a stud 26, the other end of which is fixed to the bezel 22 by first screwing it into a hole 31 and then soldering it or welding it in position. In a second embodiment Fig. 2, (not shown) the shank (41) of a conventional screw passes through the back 10 and enters a threaded hole (43) in the bezel. The watch case may be circular, oval, square or rectangular. The gasket positions a ring 35 which supports dial 36 and movement 37.
