Abstract

1,236,335. Tyre treads. PNEUMATIQUES CAOUTCHOUC MANUFACTURE ET PLASTIQUES KLEBER - COLOMBES. 20 Feb., 1969 [22 Feb., 1968], No. 9338/68. Heading B7C. An agricultural tractor tyre has a tread pattern formed of-oblique transverse main bars 1 spaced apart circumferentially by at last three times the thickness of said bars, and intermediate bars 3 of smaller size, and of lower radial height from the tread surface 2 than the main bars. The radial height from the tread 2 of the bars 3 is about one-third the height of the bars 1. The bars 3 may be at 45 degrees to the mid-circumferential line. The intermediate bars may be replaced by other forms of surface configuration such as slabs, studs, " thin plates,' slots or grooves.
