Abstract

1,227,332. Fuel injection pumps. C. A. V . Ltd. May 15, 1968 [May 23, 1967], No.23884/67. Heading F1A. In a fuel injection pump of the rotary distributer type, a shuttle 19 is actuated hydraulically by three plungers 50 in bores 12 in the distributer and equi-angularly spaced about the axis, the cam ring 51 having two sets of cam lobes, each set comprising three equi-angularly spaced lobes, the two sets being angularly spaced to give the required injection intervals. The pump is regulated and operates as discribed in Specification 1, 219, 765.
