Abstract

[Also in Division B8] A fork lift attachment 20 includes an elongated horizontal fork support which is engageable by a plurality of hooks secured along the top of a bucket 10 or the like of power earth moving equipment 11, the vertical arms 24 of the forks being supported in operation at their lower ends by the lower edge of the bucket 10. The fork arms pivotally and slidingly engage the elongated support to facilitate variation in the spacing of the arms and the picking up and setting down of the attachment by the bucket. Projections are fitted to the ends of the elongated support extending beyond the outermost hooks to prevent longitudinal displacement of the support.
