Abstract

1,202,820. Knitting-machines. H. STOLL, G. STOLL, E. STOLL, E. STOLL, J. STOLL, A. STOLL, R. F. STOLL and M. STOLL. 10 March, 1969 [23 March, 1968], No. 12483/69. Heading D1C. A cam assembly in a double lock for a jacquard flat parallel bed knitting-machine equipped with loop transfer mechanism has provision for effecting selection of jacks and needles to enable loop transfer to occur at opposite ends of the cam plate. In this purpose a main jack section Ha at each end has retractible cams 15, 16 selectively operated to raise or otherwise the needles into co-operation with needle cams 12, 13, 14 likewise positioned at each end to cause the selected needles of both beds to effect loop transfer. The cam locks have a needle actuating section Na, a main jack actuating section Ha and an auxiliary jack actuating section Hi. In addition to selection for loop transfer the main and auxiliary jack sections are effective according to the jacquard selection to achieve stitch and pattern variation.
