Abstract

1298265 Pressurized dispensing containers STERIGARD CORP 15 May 1970 23791/70 Heading F1R A pressurized dispensing container includes a valve 12 which when excess pressure builds up inside the container is actuated to release the contents. The valve stem 20 has two passages 28, 34 separated by a partition 38 and ports 32, 36 communicating with the respective passages. Springs 70,72 lies within the valve chamber 48 and the port 32 out of communication therewith. Depression of the stem forces port 32 into the chamber 48 and discharge takes place but on excess pressure build up the stem is forced upwardly so that the port 36 is exposed to the atmosphere and the excess pressure so relieved.
