Abstract

1276794 Hydraulic presses ROBERT BUERKLE & CO 2 July 1970 [9 July 1969] 32069/70 Heading B5F In an hydraulic press comprising a press table 4 having low and high pressure closing stages, and automatic feeding and removing means for workpieces, a feeler device actuates the high pressure closing stage only when the press table 4 has traversed a predetermined closing distance. The feeler device comprises a guide rod 8 with a scale 9 and a cam 11 adjustably mounted on the rod 8, and an operating member 14 of a switch 15 located in the path of movement of the cam. If the cam 11 fails to operate the switch member 14 a sequence circuit is operative to reverse the direction of movement of the press table 4.
